About me

Hi! I am a postdoc at University of Oxford, working with Heather Harrington at the Biology Algebraic Systems Research Group. My research interests concentrate on Applied Algebraic Topology, Topological Data Analysis, Dynamical Systems and Neuroscience. While I focus on the theoretical methods, most of my current research is motivated by applications in real life problems.

I earned my Ph.D in Mathematics from the University of Buenos Aires, under the supervision of Elías Gabriel Minian. In my thesis, I approached different classical problems in low dimensional Algebraic Topology from a combinatorial and computational point of view. In particular, I developed software in SAGE and GAP related to the theory of Finite Topological Spaces. I also did a postdoc at Swansea/Durham Universities with Jeffrey Giansuracusa, working on density-based methods in manifold learning, and its applications to the study of high dimensional dynamical systems.
